RLF AgTech expands global operating footprint into Vietnam

Technology-driven plant nutrition company RLF AgTech (ASX:RLF) reports it has received government approval and authorisation to open a new representative office in Vietnam to expand its global operating footprint.

The new representative office is based in the nation’s old capital city of Ho Chi Minh and will allow the company to establish legal standing within the country, which includes, amongst other things, functions such as trading operations and employment of personnel.

The company is reported to have appointed Nhan (Frank) Lu as the RLF AgTech Regional Manager and Authorised Representative in Vietnam, and will be responsible for the company’s operation in-country, including management and support of its valuable distributor partners.

It is reported that under Frank’s leadership, RLF AgTech intends to seek deep penetration into markets by leveraging its ability to increase farm yields, improve crop quality and nutritional values, reduce the use of traditional fertilisers and improve resilience and health.

Speaking on the representative office, RLF AgTech Managing Director, Ken Hancock said: “We are excited to announce the establishment of our new representative office in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam and the appointment of Frank Lu as our local manager and Authorised Representative.

The company sees South East Asia as a core pillar of our expansion strategy”

The company sees South East Asia as a core pillar of our expansion strategy and I am delighted to launch our new presence in Vietnam together with Frank. We look forward to seeing how RLF AgTech’s products can provide a value-add sustainable solution to local farming as we drive on farm efficiency and work towards better, higher quality crops to feed local and international markets.”

The company also notes the establishment of the Vietnam office represents the next phase of its key sales expansion strategy into ‘significant’ emerging and established agriculture markets.

In addition, the recent global release of Veridium is expected to play a potential future role in the production of rice in Vietnam, which accounts for 94% of available land.

The adoption of the company and the development of value adding farming products is perceived as critical in increasing the yields and efficiency for smaller-scale farms.

RLF AgTech is a technology-driven plant nutrition company focused on the development of products to empower farmers, nourish people and restore the earth. The company combines plant science with advanced chemistry and manufacturing practices to produce high-quality plant nutrition products for commercial agriculture.

With the new Vietnam office now approved, RLF AgTech announces it looks forward to seeing how its products provide a value-add sustainable solution to local farming within the nation.
