Australian Communications-as-a-Service (CaaS) company Norwood Systems (ASX:NOR) reports it has appointed Ronan Dunne as a strategic advisor.
In this role, the company says Dunne will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and counselling Norwood’s leadership team as it looks to expand its global presence in the telecommunications industry.
Norwood states Dunne is bringing a wealth of experience to the company, having held senior leadership positions at some of the world’s largest telecommunications companies including the US-based Verizon Consumer Group where he was a strategic advisor.
Before Verizon, Dunne was the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of UK telecommunications company O2, and he has served on the boards of the Guardian Media Group, AVG Technologies, Tesco Mobile and Manx Telecom.
In addition to his work in telecommunications, Dunne is also a director of UK-based retailer Marks and Spencer, and serves as a Non-Executive Chairman of Six Nations Rugby.
