Delta Drone secures deal to supply drone data and surveying services at Ivory Coast mines

Multi-national drone-based data service and technology solutions provider Delta Drone (ASX:DLT) reports it has signed a contract with SFTP Mining through its subsidiary company Rocketmine for drone surveying services across two mines in the Ivory Coast.

The contract is reported to be active for about a year and a half with a Total Contract Value (TCV) of AU$341,000 and an annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of AU$227,000.

Under the contract, the company’s services will include aerial surveys and mapping, stockpile volumetric calculations, as well as geospatial haul-road optimisation for SFTP on a gold mine in the Ivory Coast that is currently owned by a leading TSX-listed gold miner.

We are very excited at the opportunity to expand our services across West Africa into Côte d’Ivoire”

Speaking on the contract, Delta Drone Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Christopher Clark said: “We are very excited at the opportunity to expand our services across West Africa into Côte d’Ivoire, through our agreement with SFTP Mining.

Combining our on-site Drone Services with our new AI and Geospatial software capability, DLT will give SFTP the assurance it requires when reconciling its volumes with its customer, while optimising load and haul operations on-site.”

The company also notes that the contract is subject to standard termination clauses and may be terminated by SFTP with 30 days notice within the first 3 months.

Following the 3 month period, SFTP may terminate with 30 days notice subject to the termination fee amounting to the remaining value of the contract term.
