Advance Metals (ASX:AVM) reports it has found new areas of copper and gold mineralisation through its summer exploration program at the Garnet Creek and Anderson Creek projects, both located in Idaho in the US.
The company has collected large amounts of data at both sites that is currently being analysed and reviewed for completion of JORC exploration target reports.
At Garnet Creek, Advance used aeromagnetic data and field mapping during the July program to advance the geologic understanding and support expansion of the project.
In September, the company completed a second mapping and sampling program that followed-up on new areas of mineralisation identified earlier in the summer. The sampling program included collecting 900 soil samples, 93 rock chip samples and 9.5m of channel samples.
During the site investigations, the field personnel also surveyed drill pad location and road access routes, and Advance intends to finalise and submit the drilling permits in Q4 2022.
All exploration programs at Garnet Creek have been completed, with crews demobilised, and all samples have been sent to laboratories for testing.
At the Anderson Creek Project, Advance completed exploration at the project in mid-September following a field mapping, rock chip sampling and gridded soil sample campaign targeting areas of mineralisation previously identified, and in new areas hosting ‘potential’ mineralisation along trend.
Geochemical sampling conducted included collecting 65 rock chip samples, and 477 soil samples at the site.
Field personnel also completed a high-resolution drone photogrammetry elevation and aerial survey to highlight surface trends in the geology and uncover historical activities covered by vegetation.
Advance reports it will use this data to support exploration planning and future permits for the Anderson Creek Project.
Advance Metals COO Dom Hill said completing exploration programs at Anderson Creek and Garnet Creek are huge milestones for Advance.
